The Changing Habits Of Spa Clients

A recent survey established the habits, concerns, and preferences for both spa-goers and non-spa-goers. Results suggest the pandemic and its effects have inspired a new wave of consumers making their way to spas.

Clients are now more cost-conscious. For regular spa-goers, they may extend the time between their appointments instead of booking alternative treatments that are less costly. However, consumers new to the spa are experimenting with less expensive services and may opt for home care treatments to reduce their cost.

It should come as no surprise that the survey found that one of the top reasons for visiting a spa apart from relieving stress was to improve appearance.

Given the shift in client habits to more be more cost conscious whilst still want to improve their appearance, spas who can adapt their structure will be more likely to retain and even increase their client base. What can you do to adapt?
