How do you communicate with your staff?
This may seem like a strange question as you talk to them every day, but consider this 7% of communication is verbal, 55% is visual and 38% is tonal.
How you deliver your communication is far more important than the words that are said if you want them to have impact.
Giving someone praise but not looking at them, having a frown on your face and/ or downbeat tone says to the recipient that you don’t really mean what you are saying.
Take some time to think about your body language and your voice when speaking with your staff, small changes may have big effects in how your communications are received.
